This is an unofficial space for you the people to post an article about your issue.  Just remember a few basic rules.

1. Speak for yourself not the group.
2. No touting of political candidates or political parties
3. When posting not only state what the issue is but also propose a possible solution
4. This is a peaceful and non-violent movement, so topics advocating differently are not welcome.
5. When commenting please be civil and stay on the topic of the post.

Nothing in this category should be seen as a representing the Des Moines General Assembly.

Update:

Everyone who is registered for the site should be able to post articles to this section now.

Instructions:

• To add an article click on the icon at the bottom that looks like a piece of paper.  When you mouse over it some text that says "Submit new article" pops up.
• Make sure your first name is in the title so everyone knows who posted it.  See the current titles for examples.
• Make sure the first line of the article is blank.  There is an issue in one of the templates for the site that causes articles to display incorrectly otherwise.
• Make sure to set the article to published when you are finished.
• Make sure you follow the guidelines mentioned above.
