Stewart Square Community Occupant Form

 Here is my list of rules and the consequences for violating those rules. I realize this is getting to you all a little late; however we need to be able to discuss these tonight at GA.

 Agreement on Principles and Rules:

As an occupant of Stewart Square, I agree to the following principles and rules. I understand that a breach of these principles and/or rules will be reason for expulsion from Stewart Square. I understand that by not signing this agreement will also be terms for expulsion from Stewart Square. I understand mediation is available in case of dispute; however mediation will not be construed as a replacement for expulsion from the park. Mediation, if performed successfully, will be used as a tool to determine when entrance back into the park will be allowed (Susceptible to General Assembly approval). I understand that certain behaviors such as not participating in the community or violence and drug or alcohol use will result in immediate and permanent expulsion from Stewart Square.

1. I will not carry weapons of any kind. (immediate expulsion if violated)
2. I will not vandalize, destroy or steal property. (immediate expulsion if violated)
3. I will maintain neatness of my personal belongings and cleanliness of Stewart Square. (3 warnings, immediate expulsion on 3^rd infraction).
4. I will not use or carry alcohol or illegal drugs at Stewart Square and will not enter the park in an intoxicated state. (immediate expulsion if violated)
5. I will respect quit hours between 11:00 pm and 7:00 am. (3 warnings, immediate expulsion on 3^rd infraction)
6. I will act in a respectful manner and I will not insult, swear at or attack others. (immediate expulsion if violated)
7. I will not allow any pet(s) to occupy any of the enclosed community areas or private dwellings within Stewart Square. No pets will be allowed at General Assembly or committee meetings outside Stewart Square. The community areas are: the kitchen, the dining room, the General Assembly hall, and the 16 man Occupier tent. (3 warnings, immediate expulsion on 3^rd infraction)
8. I will not assault, verbally or physically, those who oppose or disagree with me. (immediate expulsion if violated)
9. I will use my anger at injustice as a peaceful, positive, nonviolent force for change.
10. I will continually put the needs of the movement ahead of my own.
11. I will protect myself and call for assistance if I am assaulted.
12. I will participate in the General Assemblies and direct actions as I am able.
13. I will volunteer as needed or when requested in Stewart Square daily (see list of tasks below)
